Kumalo leaves his poor village with his life savings in order to go to Johannesburg to try to persuade his sister and son to come home but while there he finds his son has been accused of the murder of the son of a farmer. On Sanders' orders Bosambo frees a slave convoy that were to be sold to the primitive tribe of King Mofolaba (Toto Ware). While Sanders is away, Mofolaba takes his revenge by killing Sanders' deputy, leaving Bosambo for dead and stealing his new wife. Mahala (Patricia O'Rourke) is entranced by Mowgli, and persuades him to take her deep into the jungle, where they discover the relics of an ancient civilisation.
