Den nyligen dumpade Owen och den förhoppningsfulla romantikern Allie kan vara de enda två singlarna i stan som letar efter något mer än bara ett kort möte. Båda känner en gnista när de träffas, men en serie felsteg och sidouppdrag komplicerar kvällen, och håller dem isär.
