Before they are set to travel, however, the group are shocked at the arrival of Chrissie (Linney) who has returned to Ireland for her mother's funeral after years away in America. Chrissie joins the women in her mother's place, but is forced to confront her painful past as the memories of the life she left behind begin to catch up with her.
