In 17th century Japan a samurai called Hanshiro (Ichikawa Ebizô) arrives at the Li household to request permission to commit ritual suicide after falling into poverty. Suspicious of Hanshiro's motives, Kageyu (Kôji Yakusho) tries to dissuade him from his path by telling him of the horrific fate of the last ronin to have made this request, a young man called Motome (Eita). Hanshiro appears undeterred but as his own story unfolds in flashback, it becomes clear that his true motives are very different from those he first declared.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Genyo Kamiura (Riri Furanki) and his mob gang are the leaders of the murky underground yakuza world. Rumours surround the supposedly indestructable Kamiura, who hides a secret - he is a vampire, but nobody knows this, not even his most devoted follower Kageyama (Hayato Ichihara). Kamiura is soon visited by hitmen who have found out his secret and try to get him to return to the international syndicate. Kamiura refuses and is killed. Before he dies, however, he bites Kageyama, transferring his vampiric powers to his unwitting follower.
