She is immediately drawn to him and decides to stay in his hotel as she attempts to pursue him. When their bags, which are identical, are confused with the bags belonging to two other guests which contain a collection of valuable jewellery and some top-secret government documents, a desperate chase across San Francisco ensues as everyone seeks to reclaim their belongings and prevent the jewels from being stolen by a pair of desperate hotel employees. Azuza, Kalifornien, 1979. Den 15-årige Rocky Dennis (Eric Stoltz) lider av en mycket sällsynt sjukdom som förstorar och förvränger hans huvud.
