The film follows Kay (Sarah Kendall), an abstract artist who has experienced violent nightmares since she was a child. With the quality of her artwork suffering as a result, Kay's mother suggests going on holiday with her husband David (Alan McRae), her brother Eric (Frederick Flynn) and his wife Brooke (Carol Kottenbrook), and books them a trip to an isolated island off the coast of Georgia.
