Den gröna milen (originaltitel: The Green Mile) är en amerikansk dramafilm från 1999, regisserad av Frank Darabont efter boken med samma namn av Stephen King.<br/><br/>Paul Edgecomb (Tom Hanks) var på 30-talet vaktchef vid en avdelning för dödsdömda på Cold Mountain. En dag anländer en man (Michael Clarke Duncan) som är dömd för mord på två flickor. Paul tar särskilt intresse för denna fånge. Något mycket underligt händer en dag, något som liknar ett mirakel.
