When Ronnie DeFeo (Paul Ben-Victor) loses money after dealing with small-time crooks his family life beings to unravel. He takes his frustrations out on his wife, Louise (Diane Franklin), and two children, Butch (John Robinson) and Dawn (Chelsea Ricketts). As a coping mechanism Butch and Dawn experiment with contacting the spirit world and these involvements lead Butch to believe that voices are communicating with him.
