Arriving at the rig, he discovers it is all but deserted, save for a worker named Chato (Julio Cesar Cedillo) and his pet chihuahua. Paul soon learns that they are now stranded on the rig, as lurking in the waters beneath them is a legendary megalodon, named by locals as the Black Demon.
