Status Quo

Most comprehensive collection to date of Quo's early recordings for between 1970 and 1972. Captures an era when this much-loved rock band found their signature sound. Includes rare mono version of third album, 'Ma Kelly's Greasy Spoon', various singles and B-sides, outtakes and alternative versions, plus a version of The Doors' 'Roadhouse Blues'. With liner notes from Status Quo aficionado Dave Ling, and track annotations from mastering engineer Andy Gamble.

Live! was the first live album that Status Quo released commercially. The original release in 1977 was recorded over 3 nights between 27th and 29th October 1976, recorded using the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio. 'Live In Glasgow' was the first ever issue of night's 1976 tour presented in its entirety. Live! is regarded as one of the classic Live albums from the seventies and one of Quo's most memorable live sets. This one complete recording of one setlist from the same tour shows the band at their loud 'n' furious peak, with all the original 1970s lineup in full effect.

Fantastisk konsert från boogierockveteranerna Status Quo, inspelad i London 2016.<br/><br/>Tanken var att Status, efter 2016 års konsertturné, skulle lägga elgitarrerna på hyllan, till förmån för ett mer akustiskt sound. Det blev dock en allvarlig smolk i bägaren att gitarristen Rick Parfitts sjukdom hindrade honom från att vara med på stora delar av turnén. Parfitt gick bort på julafton 2016, men inte förrän han hade fått sin gamle vapendragare Francis Rossi att lova att fortsätta hålla Status Quos arv vid liv, och att fortsätta släppa musik.

Vi bjuds på en unik konsert i ett fantastisk sammanhang, Westonbirt Arboretum är en naturlig amfiteater där naturen är själva inramningen. Status Quo bjuder på alla hitsen och lite till, bl.a. "Caroline", "In The Army Now", "Roll Over Lay Down", "Whatever You Want" och "Rockin' All Over The World". Både CD och LP är limiterade och individuellt numrerade.
