Information om Ramones
Ramones är ett amerikanskt punkband bildat i Queens, New York i mars 1974. De ledde punkrörelsen i New York och är ofta erkända för bildandet av grunden för punk. Alla medlemmar i originaluppsättningen ändrade sitt efternamn till Ramone (ett smeknamn som ibland använts av Paul McCartney för att undvika uppmärksamhet vid resande), trots att de inte var bröder. De skivor som allmänt räknas som bandets viktigaste är de tre första: Ramones, Leave Home och i synnerhet Rocket to Russia samt möjligen även deras fjärde skiva Road to Ruin.
