Pittsburgh-based Soul Man Billy Price follows up his award-winning 2015 recording with the late Otis Clay with ALIVE AND STRANGE, a scorching set recorded live with the Billy Price Band in front of a sold-out hometown crowd. ALIVE AND STRANGE, Price's 15th career recording, features Price with his superb horn-driven band performing an eclectic array of blues, R&B, soul, and funk songs written by icons of these genres. Billy Price has been entertaining audiences throughout the East Coast and the world since the early 1970s when he was featured vocalist with legendary guitarist Roy Buchanan. In April 2016, he was officially recognized and inducted as a Pittsburgh Rock 'n' Roll Legend.

Acclaimed soul singer Billy Price teamed with award-winning guitarist and producer Kid Andersen to create RECKONING, Price's first solo studio recording in five years. For the sessions at Andersen's Greaseland studio in San José, California. they brought together an all-star collection of West Coast musicians and singers to back Price's vocals. Price, who won a 2016 Blues Music Award (Best Soul-Blues Album) for THIS TIME FOR REAL, his collaboration with the late Otis Clay, considers RECKONING to be the strongest work of his career. Scheduled for a June 15, 2018 release through VizzTone Label Group, RECKONING features Price originals along with songs previously recorded by such artists as Bobby Bland, Otis Redding, J.J. Cale, and Swamp Dogg.
