After two consecutive new Jethro Tull album releases in 2022 and 2023, another collection - 'Curious Ruminant' - is unleashed! Consisting of nine tracks varying in length from two and half minutes to almost seventeen minutes, this is an album of mostly full band music. Amongst the musicians featured are former keyboardist Andrew Giddings and drummer James Duncan, along with the current band members David Goodier, John O'Hara, Scott Hammond and, making his recording debut with the band, guitarist Jack Clark.

Their mix of hard rock; folk melodies; blues licks; surreal, impossibly dense lyrics; and overall profundity defied easy analysis, but that didn't dissuade fans from giving them 11 gold and five platinum albums. Formed in 1967 by Ian Anderson, Jethro Tull went on to sell over 60 million albums worldwide and become one of the most commercially successful and eccentric progressive-rock bands.<br/><br/>Thick as a Brick is the fifth studio album by Jethro Tull, originally released in 1972 and was deliberately crafted in the style of a concept album. The original packaging was designed like a fold-out newspaper, and claims the album to be a musical adaptation of an epic poem by an 8-year-old genius, though the lyrics were actually written by the band's frontman, Ian Anderson. Rolling Stone magazine called Thick as a Brick as "one of rock's most sophisticated and ground-breaking products".

Jethro Tull celebrates the 50th anniversary of their eight studio album, Minstrel in the Gallery, with a new marbled vinyl. Originally released on 5th September 1975, the album saw the band going in a different direction from their previous work and returning to a blend of electric and acoustic songs. The new 1LP is using Steven Wilson's remix of the album.<br/><br/>That juxtaposition of acoustic and electric has been a feature of Jethro Tull's music throughout their career, but is perhaps never better exemplified than on Minstrel In The Gallery which, after earlier albums' tags of 'blues' and 'prog', is unequivocally a 'rock' album, albeit with a maturity and sophistication both lyrically and harmonically which highlighted Tull's originality.<br/><br/>It was the last album of theirs to feature bassist Jeffery Hammond. Minstrel in the Gallery was a top 20 album across the world and has since been certified gold in the US and Canada and silver in the UK.
