Deep Purple firar 20-årsjubileet av sitt 18:e studioalbum, "Rapture of the Deep", med en ny mixning och remastering, samt ett nytt, slående omslag. Basisten Roger Glover har personligen övervakat mixningen för att ge albumet en ny klarhet och färg.<br/><br/>Den här nya versionen inkluderar en bonus-CD med tidigare outgivna instrumentala inspelningar och studioövningar från 2005. Upplev bland annat det aldrig tidigare hörda spåret "Closing Note" av den tidigare gitarristen Steve Morse.

Deep Purple: Collected Broadcasts 1968-91 [4 CD]

Deep Purple stands alongside Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath as part of the Holy Trinity of British hard rock. The list of the band's classic songs is legion, and the influence it's had on successive generations of musicians is both enduring and remarkable. <br/><br/>The three-disc version of A FIRE IN THE SKY dives deep into Purple's past with 40 songs and includes at least one track from every studio album through Now What?!. It also provides the ultimate showcase for the group's various incarnations through the years. To date, more than a dozen musicians have appeared on a Deep Purple album.<br/><br/>Among the set's many highlights are: the title track from 2005's Rapture of the Deep; "King of Dreams" from 1990's Slaves and Masters; "Bad Attitude" from 1987's The House of Blue Light; "You Keep Me Moving" from 1975's Come Taste The Band; and "Hush" from the group's 1968 debut, Shades Of Deep Purple. This expanded version also features Kevin Shirley's 2010 remix of "Dealer," and the 2012 stereo mix for an early version of "The Bird Has Flown."

This triple CD set contains rare live and radio sessions, broadcast material from the band from different eras of their career, and celebrates the group's longevity, influence and the raw, unadulterated talent of its most creative members. <br/><br/>Disc One boasts the reformed, MkII Purple line-up, performing at the Bercy Stadium in Paris in 1985. Here features radio sessions by the band, recorded for and broadcast by the BBC's Radio One during the 1968-1970 period. Disc Two stays within the group's early years as it includes shows recorded at the Paradiso in Amsterdam in 1969, and at the Bilzen jazz festival in Belgium the same year. It also features 3 cuts recorded for the BBC's Top Of The Pops in 1970. Coming forward 15 years, Disc Three boasts the reformed, MkII Purple line-up, performing at the Bercy Stadium in Paris in 1985.
