Caribou

Dan Snaith aka Caribou släpper sitt nya album Honey via City Slang. Albumet innehåller singlarna Honey, Broke My Heart, Volume och Come Find Me och är uppföljaren till 2020 års skiva Suddenly ("Perfectly imperfect pop" 5/5, The Guardians 'Album of the Week'). Efter att ha lagt ner hela sin själ i 2014 års Grammy-nominerade Our Love och Suddenly, drar sig Snaith på sitt sjätte Caribou-album nu lite undan i sökandet efter musik som inte handlar om någon enskild person och som är tillgänglig för alla. En skiva som griper tag i dig och rör dig som hans andra alter ego Daphni, innan den vaggar och lyfter dig som Caribou.

Daniel Victor Snaith är en kanadensisk matematiker och kompositör, musiker och artist under<br/>pseudonymerna Caribou och Manitoba. Med Caribou har Daniel bl.a. vunnit Polaris Music Prize 2008 för albumet 'Andorra'. På sitt sjätte album 'Our Love' har Daniel samarbetat med Jessy Lanza och Owen Pallett och albumet är mixat av David Wrench.<br/><br/>Med detta album fortsätter Caribou sin resa i landet mellan pop, soul, eletronika och hip-hop. De varma analoga ljudlandskapen samsas med hip-hop inspirerade trumljud.

Hendrix With Ko&#039; is the second single taken from Dan Snaith&#039;s groundbreaking second album, Up In Flames, and features vocals by the notoriously reclusive Koushik Ghosh. Ko&#039;s chops are alternately meshed with an off-centre rock beat, fragmented harp and an infectious electro-melody.
