Absolute Losers

In The Crowd is the sophomore album by Charlottetown trio, Absolute Losers. The album explores the concept of relationships from multiple angles; with songs about past relationships, unrest in current romantic relationships, childhood, family relationships, and relationships with ourselves. To the band "the crowd" is made up of all these people - friends, family, girlfriends, exes, the inner child, etc. but also the imagery of the crowd because it has the ability to make you feel like you're part of a group experience, but can also make you feel isolated and alone.

Charlottetown, Canada rock trio Absolute Losers return with a bold new chapter in their sonic journey: In The Crowd, out September 26, 2025 on Having Fun Records, the new imprint from Toronto label We Are Busy Bodies. Recorded at Palace Sound in Toronto with acclaimed producer Graham Walsh (Holy Fuck), the album marks a significant evolution for the band. Unlike their 2023 Music PEI Award-winning debut At The Mall, which was crafted in a lockdown bedroom, In The Crowd sees the band push their limits during marathon studio sessions, fully immersed in building a bigger, bolder sound. Walsh not only produced but also engineered and mixed the record, helping realize a more expansive, emotionally rich vision.
