In 'Dr. No' (1962), the first outing of James Bond (Sean Connery), the Secret Service agent is sent to Jamaica to investigate the murder of one of his colleagues.<br/><br/>It transpires that the island is being used as a base for the terrorist organisation SPECTRE, who, under the guidance of the despotic Dr. No (Joseph Wiseman), have developed technology to divert rockets launched from Cape Canaveral. In 'From Russia With Love' (1963), Connery reprises his role as Bond as he is assigned to Istanbul to steal a Russian coding machine.<br/><br/>In 'Goldfinger' (1964), Bond (Connery) pits his wits against the power-crazed criminal mastermind Goldfinger (Gert Fröbe). In 'Thunderball' (1965), as SPECTRE steals two nuclear bombs and threatens to blow up the world, Bond (Connery) infiltrates the terrorists' underwater base off the Bahamas in the hopes of foiling their plan. 'You Only Live Twice' (1967) sees Bond (Connery) travel to Japan where he is tasked with keeping the peace between the superpowers when a SPECTRE rocket intercepts an American space capsule carrying a nuclear warhead.<br/><br/>'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' (1969) sees George Lazenby take up the title role. After being forced to hand in his 'licence to kill', Bond continues his investigations alone, following his instincts to Portugal where love interest Tracey Draco (Diana Rigg) informs him that his arch-nemesis Blofeld (Telly Savalas) is residing in Switzerland. Sean Connery returns in 'Diamonds Are Forever' (1971) as Bond plans to infiltrate a worldwide diamond smuggling operation.<br/><br/>Roger Moore makes his 007 debut in 'Live and Let Die' (1973), the eighth instalment of the franchise, as Bond is tasked with cracking a voodoo-controlled drug smuggling racket in the Caribbean. In 'The Man With the Golden Gun' (1974), Bond (Moore) travels to the Far East to hunt for hired assassin Scaramanga (Christopher Lee), who appears to have Bond as his next target. However, it soon transpires that Scaramanga is really after a missing scientist; the creator of a pocket-sized solar converter.<br/><br/>'The Spy Who Loved Me' (1977) sees Bond (Moore) join forces with a glamorous Russian spy (Barbara Bach) with plans to outwit a megalomaniac shipping magnate (Curd Jürgens) who intends to achieve world domination by causing nuclear war between the superpowers. In 'Moonraker' (1979), Bond (Moore) is assigned to track down a missing space shuttle after it goes missing during a test flight. His investigations take him to Venice, Rio de Janeiro and finally into outer space where he uncovers a ruthless plot to wipe out the human race and replace it with genetically engineered humanoids.<br/><br/>'For Your Eyes Only' (1981) sees Bond (Moore) tasked with retrieving a nuclear launch activation button which is thought to be lost at sea. In 'Octopussy' (1983), Bond (Moore) is pitted against the glamorous Octopussy (Maud Adams) as he tries to stop a group of Soviets who plan to steal Tsarist treasures and set off a nuclear explosion in a German NATO base. 'A View to a Kill' (1985) is Moore's final appearance as the Secret Service agent as he battles madman Max Zorin (Christopher Walken) who plans to flood California's lucrative Silicon Valley by imploding the San Andreas Fault.<br/><br/>In 'The Living Daylights' (1987), Timothy Dalton makes his first appearance as Bond as he is sent to Gibraltar in pursuit of dealers who specialise in arms, drugs and diamonds. In 'Licence to Kill' (1989), Dalton's second and final outing as Bond sees 007 leave Her Majesty's Secret Sevice and branch out on his own. The trouble begins when drug baron Franz Sanchez (Robert Davi) makes an unexpected appearance at the wedding of Felix Leiter (David Hedison), Bond's good friend, leaving the groom maimed and the bride dead.<br/><br/>Bond has no choice but to seek his revenge and, with a little help from Q (Desmond Llewellyn), sets out after the villainous Sanchez. Pierce Brosnan makes his 007 debut in 'Goldeneye' (1995) where the agent receives his first post-Cold War mission: blow up a Soviet chemical weapons factory with agent 006 (Sean Bean). In 'Tomorrow Never Dies' (1997), Bond (Brosnan) returns when a British warship is destroyed in Chinese waters.<br/><br/>As Bond is dispatched to prevent the outbreak of World War Three, he discovers that the superpowers are being manipulated by ruthless media tycoon Elliot Carver (Jonathan Pryce), and sets about enlisting the help of Carver's attractive wife, Paris (Teri Hatcher). 'The World Is Not Enough' (1999)sees Bond (Brosnan) come up against another dangerous nemesis, Renard (Robert Carlyle), a power-crazed terrorist intent on taking control of the world's oil supplies. Bond has his work cut out defeating Renard, as the villain has a bullet lodged in his brain which renders him immune to any pain.<br/><br/>As his mission grows more perilous Bond also encounters sultry oil heiress Elektra (Sophie Marceau), and nuclear scientist Christmas Jones (Denise Richards). In 'Die Another Day' (2002), Brosnan returns as Bond after having spent the last year in a North Korean prison. Once he is freed, Bond discovers that one of his former captors, Zao (Rick Yune), has teamed up with the evil Gustav Graves (Toby Stephens) and the pair plan to put the fate of the entire world in jeopardy.<br/><br/>Daniel Craig makes his Bond debut in 'Casino Royale' (2006), the 21st instalment of the franchise. Based on one of the original Ian Fleming novels, the story follows a young Bond at the beginning of his career having just received his '00' status. For his first mission, 007 travels to Montenegro to investigate the highly exclusive Casino Royale where Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen), a money man for an international terrorist group, is raising funds for their misdeeds through high-stakes gambling.<br/><br/>The rookie MI6 agent, aided by British Treasury agent Vesper Lynd (Eva Green), is tasked with infiltrating the group and ultimately defeating the rogue player, both on and off the tables. 'Quantum of Solace' (2008) sees Craig reprise his role. After the events of Casino Royale that saw him betrayed by his aid, Bond turns his sights on those who controlled her.<br/><br/>While interrogating Mr White (Jesper Christensen), Bond discovers that the shadowy organisation responsible for blackmailing Vesper is a lot more powerful and dangerous than he ever imagined. In 'Skyfall' (2012), Bond (Craig)'s loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her, and Bond's own doubts about his life and livelihood start to creep in. As MI6 comes under attack and Bond is sent to Shanghai to investigate, he must keep his focus on tracking down and destroying the threat - no matter how high the personal cost.<br/><br/>Craig returns as 007 in the 24th instalment of the James Bond franchise 'Spectre' (2015). After the devastating attack on MI6, a cryptic message leads Bond on a rogue mission to Rome where he meets Lucia Sciarra (Monica Bellucci), the widow of a notorious crime lord. On infiltrating a top secret meeting, Bond discovers the existence of the global crime organisation SPECTRE and sets about trying to expose them and ultimately bring them down.

Archaeologists Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) are invited to view the park along with chaos theory expert Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum), only to find themselves being hunted when the dinosaurs break free. The sequel 'The Lost World: Jurassic Park' (1997) is set four years later on the neighbouring Isla Sorna where the dinosaurs for the park were bred. John Hammond contacts Ian Malcolm and asks him to visit the island to document the dinosaur activity. When he learns that his girlfriend, paleontologist Dr. Sarah Harding (Julianne Moore) is already on the island, he agrees to go, not realising that a rival expedition is on its way with plans to capture the dinosaurs and transport them to the mainland. 'Jurassic Park III' (2001) sees Alan Grant approached by Paul and Amanda Kirby (William H. Macy and Téa Leoni), a wealthy couple who want a guide to escort them on a flight over Isla Sorna. Grant agrees to take the flight but as soon as they are over the island, the couple attempt a landing. Grant discovers that their son is lost on the island and they are desperate to find him but when a dinosaur attack disables the plane, the rescue party finds itself stranded and at the mercy of the island's prehistoric inhabitants. 'Jurassic World' (2015) is set 22 years after 'Jurassic Park' (1993) when Isla Nublar is reopened as a theme park. In order to boost attendance, operations manager Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) asks the park's geneticists to create genetically modified hybrid dinosaurs, the latest product of their experimentation being the Indominus rex. But when the Indominus rex escapes and begins killing other dinosaurs for sport, it's left to park staff member and behavioural researcher Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) to save the park's inhabitants. In 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom' (2018), the Jurassic World theme park now lies in ruins and the dinosaurs of Isla Nublar have been left to roam freely on the island. However, with a massive volcanic eruption threatening their existence, Claire Dearing recruits Owen Grady and the two return to the island in a bid to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from the impending disaster. With time running out, the pair soon find their plans complicated further when they uncover a conspiracy which could put the future of the world at risk. In 'Jurassic World: Dominion' (2022), dinosaurs now live alongside humans all over the world. Owen Grady and Claire Dearing are joined by Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler and Ian Malcolm to try to determine whether the two species can live together in peace. Finally, 'Jurassic World: Rebirth' (2025) is set five years later when most of the world's surviving dinosaurs have settled in remote tropical regions. Mercenary Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson) is recruited by a pharmaceutical company to obtain DNA from three different species of hybrid dinosaurs to further life-saving and lucrative medical research. Can Banner transform into the Hulk once more and work alongside Thor to put a stop to the gang? In 'The Trial of the Incredible Hulk' (1989) the Hulk finds himself wrongly accused of a crime he witnessed while on the subway. Defended by his lawyer Matt Murdock (Rex Smith), who transforms into Daredevil, the Hulk, as his human form of David Banner, must pit his wits against the justice system as he grapples with his own sense of guilt. Meanwhile the true culprits of the crime are still at large and aim to ensure that the Hulk is the one who is ultimately found guilty, at any cost. Finally, in 'The Death of the Incredible Hulk' (1990) Banner attempts once again to rid himself of his monstrous green form. In the belief that scientist Dr Ronald Pratt (Philip Sterling) at a research facility in Portland, Oregon may have a cure, he gains access to the site by pretending to be a janitor and secretly works alongside Pratt to fine-tune his formula. A spy organisation are keen to get their own hands on the cure, however, which leads Banner to once again transform into the Hulk to protect the only thing able to free him from his condition and the scientist who invented it. Set in Middle Earth 60 years before events in 'The Lord of the Rings', 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' (2012) follows the adventures of hobbit Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), who, at the instigation of the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen), suddenly finds himself co-opted into joining a company of 13 Dwarves led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) to help reclaim the dwarves' lost kingdom of the Lonely Mountain from the clutches of a dragon. After setting out on their quest from the safety of Bag End, the band of travellers soon find themselves pitted against a range of strange and fearsome opponents, in addition to a small, slimy creature known simply as Gollum (Andy Serkis). In 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug' (2013), while Gandalf heads south on his own, Bilbo, Thorin and the dwarves enter the treacherous Mirkwood Forest on their way to the mountain. When they reach Lake-town Bilbo has to perform the role he was assigned at the start of the quest - to find a secret door that will lead him to the lair of Smaug the dragon (voice of Benedict Cumberbatch). In the final instalment, 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' (2014), Bilbo, Thorin and the other dwarves have unintentionally released Smaug from the Lonely Mountain and endangered the residents of Lake-town. Bilbo has to make a difficult decision when Thorin puts his desire to find the royal jewel Arkenstone before his loyalty to his friends. Meanwhile, Gandalf discovers that the evil Sauron has returned, commanding a horde of Orcs to attack the Lonely Mountain. Bilbo and his friends must fight for their survival as five armies meet in battle. In 'The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring' (2001) Frodo (Elijah Wood) is a hobbit living in the Shire, a quiet, peaceful part of Middle Earth. When it turns out that his elderly relative Bilbo (Ian Holm) is harbouring the ultimate Ring of Power and the evil Nazgul riders of Sauron are coming to find it, Frodo is entrusted by wizard Gandalf to deliver the Ring out of the Shire without it falling into their hands. Frodo leaves the Shire aided by his cousins Merry (Dominic Monaghan), Pippin (Billy Boyd) and trusty friend Sam Gamgee (Sean Astin), but they soon realise that the agents of Mordor are everywhere and that their trip is far from over. Once they reach the Elvish realm of Rivendell the hobbits form part of the anti-Sauron fellowship, which includes Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen), Boromir (Sean Bean), Legolas (Orlando Bloom), Gimli (John Rhys-Davies) and Gandalf. Together they must battle across Middle Earth to destroy the Ring by casting it into Mount Doom, the fiery chasm in the centre of Mordor. In 'The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers' (2002) the Fellowship of the Ring has now divided and Sam and Frodo are lost in the hills of Emyn Muil. They are also being followed by Gollum, a creature who promises to help them travel to Mordor. Meanwhile Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli search for the hobbits Merry and Pippin in the Kingdom of Rohan, which is currently being attacked by Saruman's orc armies. Gandalf returns as Gandalf the White to remind Aragorn of his destiny to unite the people of Rohan with Gondor. Whilst the Fellowship is not travelling together they must unite against the powerful forces coming from the Two Towers: Orthanc Tower in Isengard where Saruman has bred a deadly army of 10,000, and Sauron's fortress at Barad-dûr. Finally, in 'The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King' (2003), Gandalf manages to rally Gondor's fallen army with the help of King Theoden of Rohan (Bernard Hill) for the biggest battle in the history of Middle Earth. Meanwhile, Aragorn finally faces up to his noble responsibilities. Although outnumbered, Gandalf's army are determined to keep Sauron distracted in order to enable Frodo to complete his quest to destroy the Ring by throwing it into the fires of Mount Doom.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>
