Längst bak i boken finns en minigrammatik och ordlistor. Varje kapitel innehåller dessutom ett bildgalleri där olika teman tas upp i bild och ord, t.ex. möbler eller matvaror. Några sånger finns inspelade med text i boken. I texterna får eleven lära känna både Moskva och Sankt Petersburg. Bokens huvudperson Nina är i Moskva för att studera ryska.
